Our herbal and rooibos tea blends are 100% caffeine free. However, it’s pretty much impossible to say exactly how much caffeine is in each cup of tea with a tea leaf (black, green, white, oolong) base. Blend ratios, water temperature and steeping time all affect how much caffeine could be in your cup. We have a general rating system on our bags of tea which gives you a ball-park to work with. 1 dot1-20 mg of caffeine per 250mls 2 dots21-40 mg of caffeine per 250mls 3 dots 41-60 mg of caffeine per 250mls 4 dots61+ mg of caffeine per 250mls
An “average” cup of coffee has over 100 mg of caffeine per 250mls.
